With over 20 years of experience in aquatics and a background in education with a focus on childhood development, Jaecie is dedicated to helping swimmers of all ages and abilities build confidence, progressively gain skills, and develop a lifelong love of swimming. At Pikes Peak Athletics, she designs and oversees our swim lesson programs, ensuring every swimmer – from beginner to advanced – has a positive, engaging, and safe experience.
Jaecie is passionate about creating an environment where students of all needs feel supported, encouraged, and excited to grow in the water. One of the most rewarding parts of her work has been teaching and developing programs for swimmers with special needs. Bringing water safety, skill development, and confidence to these children – and supporting their families – brings her immense joy. She also loves mentoring instructors on how to adapt and refine their teaching to meet the needs of every swimmer. These experiences remind her that there is a place for everyone in the water, and that inclusive teaching helps all of us become better, more attentive instructors and communicators.
Outside of work, Jaecie is a proud mom to three awesome kids – one who works here at Pikes Peak Athletics, another who swims on our team, and one who’s an artist/animator. She loves spending time outdoors camping, paddle boarding, reading, and creating art. Whether she’s designing new pieces or enjoying time with her family, Jaecie brings creativity, care, and enthusiasm to everything she does.
