Pikes Peak Athletics offers intensive clinic series during school breaks. These brief, but action-packed series are a great way to gain consistency in back-to-back sessions that oftentimes result in leaps forward in skill development. They are also a great opportunity for kids to engage in physical exercise during the school break, getting them out of the house and into organized activity. Please check back often for dates, registration and more information.

Pikes Peak Athletics offers swim camps geared toward achieving comfort and safety in and around the water. These camps take place during the work week Monday-Friday and are offered to all levels of swimmers, starting at age 4. Each day, campers will engage in lessons focused on learning and repeating skills in the water as well as basic water safety. Campers will also enjoy interactive deck games and free swim with their new friends as we know that social skills and comfort in and around the water are important to develop too! All swimmers that register two weeks prior to the camp will receive a t-shirt at the beginning of the week.
Full-day camp 8:30am-4:00pm | Half-day camp 8:30am-12:30pm
Drop-offs earlier than 15 minutes prior to camp start time and pick-ups later than camp end time are subject to fee.
*Camps will be billed 30 days prior to start date and will be non-refundable once billed.
Pikes Peak Athletics presents a one-of-a-kind day camp for swimmers. This camp features state-of-the-art technique instruction in all four strokes, their turns, starts and other skills required in competitive swimming. Join us for five days of learning and executing the fundamentals and subtleties of swimming from experienced and skilled instructors. Each day of the week campers will focus on a different competitive stroke, concluding the week with a focus on individual medleys.
One of the unique features of this camp is extensive use of video. Athletes will learn from listening, watching and executing. Lectures that incorporate video footage of Olympians will kick-off the experience each morning with practical instruction and demonstration. Athletes will watch the best swimmers in the world performing skills at the highest level and will be coached in the practice of those skills. Proven in-water drills taught using low athlete-to-coach ratio will enhance the learning experience in a highly interactive atmosphere. Each camper will be videotaped underwater in all four strokes. Pikes Peak Athletics believes strongly that the ability for campers to watch themselves swimming underwater affords a rare and special opportunity for learning and adjusting their own technique.

Pikes Peak Athletics is excited to offer our technical clinic geared toward athletes that are looking to refine stroke technique while still attending regularly scheduled training sessions. The program is centered around video lectures that discuss cutting edge techniques and concepts. In-water drills and training sessions are focused on the development and implementation of advanced movements and skills used by USA Swimming National Teamers. The clinic is intended for high school-aged competitive swimmers.
THE TECHNICAL CLINIC WILL TAKE A BREAK IN 2019 FOR REVIEW WITH NEW CONCEPTS ON THE HORIZON. STAY TUNED.
