Competitive Camp

Tuesday, June 25 – Saturday, June 29, 2024 | 8:30am – 4:30pm at PPATC

The coveted PPA Competitive Camp returns! At this one-of-a-kind camp swimmers will learn “The PPA Way” in technique, racing, and training including such concepts as the “why” behind technique and detailed race strategies. One of the unique features of this camp is extensive use of video. Athletes will learn from listening, watching, and executing. Lectures that incorporate video footage of cutting-edge race video will kick-off the experience each morning with practical instruction and demonstration. Proven in-water drills taught using low athlete-to-coach ratio will enhance the learning experience in a highly interactive atmosphere. Each camper will be videotaped underwater in all four strokes. Pikes Peak Athletics believes strongly that the ability for campers to watch themselves swimming underwater affords a rare and special opportunity for learning and adjusting their own technique.

  • Available for PPA swimmers in Groups 3 and 4 and Non-PPA swimmers 11 – 14 years old.
  • All swimmers registered two weeks prior to camp will receive a t-shirt.
  • Snacks provided, swimmers must bring own lunch.
