Anna Heidinger

Anna Heidinger is the Owner of Pikes Peak Athletics, where she has built one of Colorado’s premier aquatics programs from the ground up. She has led every facet of the business, from launching swim lessons and competitive teams to growing the Pikes Peak Athletics Foundation, which expands access to swimming for underserved youth.

Nationally recognized, Anna was named Colorado Age Group Coach of the Year, has served on USA Swimming’s CEO Roundtable, and was a featured speaker at the USA Swimming Women’s Leadership Conference. Before founding PPA, she coached at the University of Denver and also served as an academic advisor at Arapahoe Community College and Pikes Peak Community College, giving her a unique perspective on guiding student-athletes both in and out of the pool. Today, her coaching has developed swimmers at every level, from beginners to national qualifiers. She is known for her high standards, sharp leadership, and relentless commitment to her swimmers’ success.

As an athlete, Anna was a nine-time NCAA Division I All-American, team captain at the University of Wisconsin, and a U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier in seven events. She remains one of only three athletes — along with Olympian Missy Franklin and PPA’s own Madi Mintenko — to win every event she entered at the Colorado high school state championships. She also holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Sports Administration from the University of Denver.

A Colorado Springs native and proud mom to Sophea and Isabella, Anna combines her lifelong passion for swimming with her drive as a business leader to push PPA, and the sport, forward.
