Adult & Teen Swim Lessons
Pikes Peak Athletics offers swim lessons for adults and teens at every ability level. Whether you are learning to swim for the first time, building endurance for a military test, or refining technique for triathlon or fitness, our instructors provide clear, supportive coaching in a professional training environment.
Private lessons are available based on instructor availability, and group lessons allow swimmers to progress alongside peers while receiving structured instruction. Our goal is simple: help you feel confident, capable, and efficient in the water.
Who are lessons for:
Adults and teens who are unable to swim and want to develop this essential life skill
Triathletes looking to improve technique and efficiency
Fitness swimmers seeking better stroke mechanics and endurance
Military members preparing for swim tests and performance standards
Group Lesson Levels
Beginner Adult (18+) & Beginner Teen (13–17)
Designed for swimmers with little to no experience in the water or those who may feel anxious. Instruction focuses on comfort, safety, breathing, and foundational swim skills in a supportive environment.
Intermediate Adult (18+) & Intermediate Teen (13–17)
For swimmers who can move through the water but want to refine stroke mechanics, breathing patterns, and overall efficiency. The focus is on skill development and building sustainable endurance.
Advanced Adult (18+)
Ideal for swimmers preparing to join Masters or a triathlon program, or current athletes seeking focused technique instruction. These sessions emphasize stroke refinement, pacing, and performance improvement.
