She understands that each person’s fitness journey is unique and will take the time to listen to her clients, understand their goals, and adapt training programs accordingly to enhance overall well-being.

Sammy grew up in Littleton and is a Colorado native. Skiing, swimming, and soccer were her first sports, and she has always been a multisport athlete. She moved to Colorado Springs in 2010 to pursue the sport of modern pentathlon (fencing, swimming, running, shooting, and equestrian). Over her 12 years in the sport, she competed in the Tokyo Olympics along with winning 7 National Championship titles. She served in the US Army and competed as a part of the World Class Athlete Program from 2017 – 2021.

Sammy developed her passion for preventative strength training after hip surgery and many injuries during her athletic career. Alongside personal training she teaches and has certifications in a multitude of specialties that include mat Pilates, strength & conditioning, yoga, running technique, exercise recovery, and sports nutrition. She has over 10 years of experience as an athlete programming her own training leading up to the Olympics and navigating many injuries and setbacks.

She has retired from the sport of pentathlon to teach and train others, but still enjoys swimming, running, cooking, outdoor activities as well as dancing, skiing, or going on adventures with her husband, Karl.
