Coach Rob began his swimming career in Longmont, CO, where he earned all-American status and 1992 Colorado Swimming Inc. Swimmer of the Year honors. From there, Rob earned a scholarship to swim at the University of Kansas. His proudest moment as a Jayhawk was being named Team Captain his senior year. Upon completing his swimming career, Rob coached several teams in Colorado, including Longmont Swim Club, Loveland Swim Club, RallySport, and Greenwood. During that time, he coached numerous US Olympic Trials qualifiers, US National qualifiers, LSC All Stars, State Champions, and others. Coach Rob has been known to go on long cross-state bike rides, and when he is not at the pool he can be found camping and fishing all the best spots in Colorado.
