Alison “Ali” Jones is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Pikes Peak Athletics. She works with all ages and abilities in both group and individual settings.
Ali has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biology and Nursing from Western Washington University and Washington State University, respectfully. She was a registered nurse for many years and served in ICUs in both Portland, OR and Seattle, WA.
Ali transitioned to coaching about 10 years ago and has trained and coached in multiple CrossFit gyms while moving around the country with her active-duty military husband. She is a Level 2 CrossFit Coach with additional certifications in gymnastics and weightlifting. She is also a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer.
Ali grew up playing competitive soccer and was a varsity rower for 4 years at Western Washington University. She also ran a handful of half and full marathons before discovering a passion for CrossFit and its associated disciplines.
Ali and her husband (Matt) have three kids (Austin, Bria, and Emily) who are all age group swimmers at Pikes Peak Athletics. When not at swim practice or meets they try to play in the great outdoors as much as possible.
